11am. Gordon Shaw of the Rodbourne History Group with a talk that includes local, railway and, of course, family history. “The quiet engineer, Thomas Richard Guppy” who was very much a big fish in the early days of GWR.
12.15pm. Mainly for people starting out on family history but with something for everyone: “Family History – places to look”, by Jerry King of Wiltshire FHS.
1.30pm. Judy and Chris Rouse of Wyvern Railway Ancestry Research Advice about some of the multitude of ancestors that helped create the railways: “The railway navvy: his working life”
