Sue will talk to us about Henry Smith.  The "action" takes place in the East Indies, West Africa, Brazil, London and Edinburgh. Primarily it is a case study in research in more unusual sources demonstrating how much can be discovered about someone from the early-modern period who does not appear in any of the usual genealogical records.
