Joining the Society
Membership of the Wiltshire Family History Society is open to all those with an interest in family history in Wiltshire. There are presently over 2,300 members worldwide. The membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March in the following year. The annual subscription for all categories of membership is £12, which includes four quarterly journals; July, October, January and April. The membership categories are:

| Family | Limited to individuals residing at one address. Voting rights limited to one vote per subscription. One copy of Journal per subscription |
| Overseas | Individual residing outside of the UK |
| Institution | Organisations who may purchase more than one set of the Society Journals - e.g. Libraries. |
For those joining during or after October an initial subscription rate of £18 can be paid. This provides membership for the remainder of the current membership year and the whole of the next. New members using this option will receive the appropriate January and April Journals of the current membership year and all four issues for the next.

Joining
If you would like to join you can either pay your subscription by cheque or online using your credit/debit card. The Society can only accept payments in Sterling.
Cheque You can pay using a Sterling Cheque drawn on a UK bank, a British Postal Order or a Sterling Money Order obtained from a local bank. Send your payment, made payable to 'Wiltshire FHS', together with your full postal address, including your email address and UK landline telephone number if available, to:

Online If you are happy to pay via a secure link, then subscription payments can be made by credit/debit card through Genfair. Use this link to go to the Membership products in Genfair for the Wiltshire FHS. Select the appropriate product, new member 12 months (WIL-MEM/1) or new member - extended memberhip - (WIL-MEM/2) , and proceed with payment. Once the Membership Secretary accepts the order the membership record will be created and a new members pack posted, which includes appropriate forms. We cannot accept credit/debit card payments except through Genfair.
